Who Am I?

My name is Max Pinner… Doesn’t tell you much, does it?

So, what exactly are my specific skills that I’m placing at your disposal?

Who am I with enough temerity to offer to cast my eagle eye over your beloved, hard wrought text, and with enough audacity to offer some changes to it?

The simple answer is that I’m an experienced writer and educator, who has earned a living both full-time and part-time in journalism, education and information technology for about four decades.

My Background Plus Writing/Editing Skills

For many years I freelanced for the print media, (features, articles and news) as well as for corporations and government departments (corporate communications, press releases, articles and booklets.)

My experience also included a couple of years editing a small magazine.

Furthermore, I have the added advantage of having had a thorough grounding in English grammar, punctuation, syntax and structure, both during my education in the 50s and early 60s, and during my professional working life.

I am familiar with the written conventions and syntax for English in the United Kingdom, in Australia/New Zealand, and in North America.

My skills, knowledge, understanding and experience provide a very sound basis for my Quality Control Proofing Services.
